Tiny tots of Shemrock Smartkids, dressed in the colours of our Indian Flag, celebrated Independence Day in the school premises as School’s Director Sheetaljeet Kaur presided over the function as thShemrock.12.8 (3)e chief guest. On this special day the children were taught to draw the national flag and were then enlightened about the importance of this day by the School principal Guneet Kaur. The children then stepped on the stage to give amazingly cute performances, by saying a few words about their own dressed character or by singing and dancing on patriotic songs.

Students who participated in this event were namely, Sabi, Vivan, Paridhi, Arvi, Gajnesh, Ritvika, Kavya, Shivanshi, Smaridhi, Advita, Abikr, Krish, Ridhima, and Arjit among others. All the children were given a token of appreciation as encouragement for participation by the Director and the Principal.

School Principal further added that such events are educational for children as they realize the true meaning of the day and a feeling of patriotism is instilled in them.
