As the sun rises on April 20th, Shimla witnesses yet another day of mesmerizing performances at the Gaiety Kathak Utsav – 2024 Ramayana Performance. With grace-filled movements and soul-stirring melodies, the event continues to captivate audiences from near and far.
Students from prestigious institutions, including Jawahar Lal Nehru Fine Arts College, R.K.M.V, and Kala Sangam Dance Academy, take center stage in the afternoon sessions, showcasing their talent and dedication to the art of Kathak dance.
Attendees are treated to a symphony of rhythm and storytelling as renowned Gurus Mangala Bhatt and Raghav Raj Bhatt lead their troupe of Kathak dancers and musicians in a spellbinding performance. With approximately 50 attendees in the evening session, the Utsav maintains its allure and charm.
On both April 19th and 20th, 2024, approximately 90 individuals attended in the morning, while around 50 attended in the evening.
